We are Norac Foods UK Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company registration number 09350279.  Our registered office is at 144 Liverpool Road, London N11LA.  Our registered VAT number is GB213356535.

2              These terms

In Great Britain, you can buy the products listed on our website at https://www.noracfoodsuk.com.    

These are the terms and conditions on which we supply those products to customers in Great Britain.  We may update these terms at any time. 

Sales made through this website are for consumers only.  If you are a business or trade buyer, please contact sales@norac-foods.co.uk or bonjour@norac-foods.co.uk for more information.

3              Our products

The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of our products.

The packaging of the product may also vary from that shown in images on our website.

We may change our ingredients, recipes, processes or packaging at any time to improve our products and to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.  This will not impact the quality of the product.  We take reasonable care to ensure that nutritional information about the products on our website is correct, but this is sometimes subject to minor changes and so please check the packaging of a product prior to consumption for the most up to date nutritional information.  This is especially important if you have any allergies or food intolerances.

Our products are foods which will deteriorate over time.  Please note the “best before” date on our products.  After this date, our food is safe to eat but may not be at its best.  Please follow any directions as to storage of our products that appears on our packaging. We aim to process your order within 24 hours and deliver your products within 48 hours of your order being processed. We also aim for your products to have at least 4 days left before their “best before” date when you receive them.

Our products are compliant with regulatory, safety, labelling, and other requirements in the UK and the EU.  We make no warranty that the products are suitable for use outside of the UK.

Our products are stored and delivered at temperatures appropriate to that food.  We are not responsible for any products that are inappropriately stored or handled after delivery.

4              Your order

Our website will guide you through the ordering process. You will be given a chance to review and amend your order before it is submitted to us. Please make sure you have checked your order carefully before submitting it.

Our acceptance of your order takes place when we email you to accept it.  At this point, a contract will come into existence between us. 

If we are unable to fulfil your order due to stock levels, we will tell you via email and allow you to choose whether to wait for the product to be re-stocked, to pick an alternative product or to cancel your order.  We might have to cancel an order because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for or if you are in breach of these terms.  In these circumstances we will not charge you for the order, or, if we have already taken payment, we will refund you for the order. 

We will assign an order number to your order.  Please include this order number in any communications with us about your order.

We cannot make any changes to your order once you have submitted it.

5              Price and payment

All prices on our website are in £GBP and are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.

The price of the product (which includes VAT) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the product advised to you is correct, but if it is incorrect then we will contact you.  If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mispricing, we may end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid and we may require the return of any products provided to you.

We accept payment via all major credit and debit cards.  Payment will be taken before your order is dispatched.  You own the product once we have received payment in full. Risk in the product will stay with us until the products are in your physical possession. 

Before we can dispatch your order, we may need to confirm your details with your card issuer.  By submitting your order you are consenting to these checks being made.  In some cases, payments are taken by the card issuer and held in a secure account until these checks are completed. We will do our best to keep any delay to a minimum.

6              Discounts and offers

From time to time discounts and offers may be available on our products.  An offer code must be applied in the offer code field at checkout.  Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined and only one offer can be applied to any order. Items already reduced in price, including bundles, sale items, or already discounted items may be excluded from these offers.  Discount offers do not apply to delivery charges.  Offers may be withdrawn, extended or amended by us at any time.

We may offer discounts on selected products based on the “best before” date of an item of stock.  If we do this, the product page will clearly indicate the “best before” date of the item and the applicable discount.

7              Our loyalty scheme

By creating an online account, you will automatically be enrolled to our loyalty scheme.  You will then earn points for all of your purchases.

£1 spent = 1 point earned.

Your online account will be automatically updated to show the number of points you have.  Points will remain valid for one year after they are earned.

Points can only be redeemed against full price products.  Once you have earned 50 points, you will be able to redeem your points against a future purchase, worth £5 in value.  When you are redeeming your points, 10 point = £1.

We may suspend, amend or terminate this scheme or your account or benefits at any time without notice to you.  We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to your online account.  We will not be liable to you for any malfunction in the account, however in these circumstances we will use reasonable efforts to restore your access and preserve your earned points. 

8              Delivery

We offer 48 hour delivery as standard for orders placed during business days. To benefit from this standard delivery, you will need to place your order by noon (12pm) of any business day. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed in the morning of the following Monday.  

We offer free delivery in Great Britain on all orders over £15.

Delivery costs will be displayed to you on the checkout page.

Delivery times and dates are estimates only and can be affected by things like adverse weather conditions, border delays or other customs delays.  If our delivery is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay.  Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk that the products will not be delivered to you within 96  hours of your order being processed,  then you have the right to end the contract (either when we get in contact with you or by emailing us at any time at laboulangere@norac-foods.co.uk) and receive a refund from us for any products you have paid for but not received.

Our nominated parcel delivery service will deliver our products to you. If no one is available at your address to take delivery and the products cannot be posted through your letterbox, either we or our nominated parcel delivery service will inform you of the next steps so that you can receive or collect your delivery. If you do not take any action then we may end our contract with you.

9              If there is a problem with the products

Because our products are perishable, you cannot change your mind about them and return them.  However, if you have a query about our products, do not hesitate to contact us on laboulangere@norac-foods.co.uk  and our customer service team will help you.

However, you will always be able to receive a refund for a product that is not of satisfactory quality or misdescribed. 

If you become aware of a problem with your products after delivery, please get in touch with us via labouangere@norac-foods.co.uk. We advise you to take photographs of any damaged items or packaging to support your claim. 

We may ask you to return the products to us for inspection.  If we do this, we will provide you with a pre-paid postage label, or you can return the products by posting them to Norac Foods UK Ltd, 144 Liverpool Road, London, N1 1LA.  Please obtain proof of postage.   

Once we have received and inspected the products, if we agree that they are damaged, of unsatisfactory quality or misdescribed then we will refund you the price including any delivery costs (for the cheapest delivery method available), by the same method used for payment.

10           Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill.  Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the sales process.

We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.

We only supply the products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

11           How we may use your personal information

We will only use your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.

12           Other important terms

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation.  We will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.

Nobody else has any rights under this contract (except someone you pass your guarantee on to). This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest will continue in force. Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales  and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the English or Welsh courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English courts.
